You have an Audi (or two, or three, or maybe seven) in your driveway. You have a jacket emblazoned with the Quattro logo. But is your life complete?
No, mein Kamerad
— far from it. Here are a half-dozen accessories that every Audi fanboy needs to own.
Scale Model of the R10
Back before diesel was a dirty word (see what we did there?), the R10 TDI was Audi’s wunderkind
, a diesel-powered racing car that won LeMans every one of the three years it ran and chalked up a couple of victories at Sebring in the interim. Audi fans will have to do without the original’s 5.5-liter V12 turbodiesel, but if you’re into slot cars, you can find one with a decent electric motor… and it’ll pollute less.

OK — we know the idea of a wallet emblazoned with your favorite car logo is a little inane, but just like the cars themselves, Audi-branded wallets can be really, really nice. We’ve seen some lovely examples with subtle four-chrome-ring logos, as well as two-tone Audi Sport wallets with red trim that echo the design inside the car. Or you can get one with a pink R8 splashed all over it. Your choice.

Auto Union Poster
Auto Union’s racing cars were known for their speed as well as their beauty. Built at a time when streamlining was king and art deco was in vogue, the Auto Union racers were the subject of artwork that celebrated German superiority — and we all know how that worked out. Knowing the great evil that provided the financial backing for Auto Union gives the imagery a haunting quality, and makes one of these posters a must-have.

Audi Golf Accessories
No, not that
Golf — we mean the ridiculous sport where you send a ball flying off into the great green yonder, then spend half an hour trying to find it so you can hit it away again. Audi has been supporting the game for over a quarter-century, most notably through the Audi Quattro Cup
. You’ll find plenty of Audi-emblazoned polos to wear to your next car show, and if you participate in this sport, then a) try an Audi golf bag and b) we’re sorry we said the sport was silly, though it kind of is.

V8 Engine Phone Cover
Obviously, there is no shortage of phone covers adorned with the Audi logo, but we really like these. Audi’s engine covers are works of art that convey a sense of beauty and tension — a metaphor for both the power that lurks beneath them and the car as a whole. There are several varieties of V8 phone covers; some show the R8’s silver-and-black cover, but we’re drawn to those that feature the red-trimmed TFSI.

A Quattro badge for your girlfriend/boyfriend’s car
Your significant other might not yet have an Audi (such things come only with serious commitment), but you can’t just set them loose on the streets in an ordinary car. If they’re with you, they need to represent
. Let’s be honest: Putting a Quattro badge on your partner’s Corolla is the cheesiest thing in the world—and anything that wrong just has
to be right. Go on. Do it. You know you want to.
