Yup, nowadays many parts being repaired/reworked, much cheaper than new and in most of cases very reliable. Your ecu could have been repaired years ago...
So what yo are saying is that this is one of those pieces that could be repaired?
After looking through a number of threads regarding our suspension system, mine has gone into limp mode, the headlights don't raise and lower themselves when you turn them on like they used to.... my apologies I have had the money yet to buy vag com to actually validate my conclusions.
