air con rad help pls

hi not sure if this belongs in this forum,,,hope some1 can help thou...

hi all...
just askin a q for a friend who has a 200o a6 2.7 bi-turbo estate
recently he noticed that his aircon rad is completley wrong and pip[es hav been cut ( he has only owned the car for 2 months and he was told the aircon is not working because the gas is has run out- by the previous owner.)
right the 2 questions are

1) just wanted to know if there are any other model that share the same air con radiator as the 2.7 bi-turbo?

2) we beleive the current radiator is from a 1.8t.. the fixtures are not the same. if the correct hoses are bought from main stealers.the the air con rad sufficent for the car?

any help and advise is appreciated

The set up on the 2.7 is unique to that model. Your centre will be delighted supply the parts and gain a new c#ntstomer.

could i just re-check...so even if i get new pipe work (upto the radiator)..although the rad will work it will not last...
am i rite?
n if we billy bodge the rad to work...wat side effects cud it hav on the engine or the air con system?
dont realy wanna go down the avenue of gettin a new air con rad..
