Hi, I have a 2001 ALL Road with a check engine light on. The light sometime goes away on acceleration, but it does come back. I took it to the dealer and they have said I have problems with two sensors. 02 sensor on bank 1 malfunction and the other is Exhust temperture sensor on bank 2 malfunction.

have any of you seen this before?

My 2001 allroad had same condition,
result was replacement of both catalytic converters
($2.5k!)... luckily, they're covered under warranty to 80k.

The dealer is recommending changing both sensors, the O2 sensor and the heat sensor. They have said nothing about problems with the cat. I have 66k on the car now, so I would really hate it if it was the cat and the dealer saying nothing about it, so I will have to pay for it when it is out of warranty. How would I make sure it is the cat and not the sensors as they claim?
