I just purchased my 2003 allroad about 2 weeks ago. I noticed that it does not have auto-locking doors. I have a 2000 VW Jetta and found this feature very comforting (I do a lot of driving alone). I found it strange that the Allroad doors don't lock automatically at 15mph like my Jetta. Is this feature turned off or doesn't it exist? If its turned off, how can I get it turned back on?
Thanks! |

It's my understanding it can be "turned on" by your dealer (or you if you have the know how and the VAG-COM equipment to do it). Check with your dealer. If the dealership won't do it, do a search on line for folks with a VAG-COM in your area.
