Default 2001 S8 multi misfires

got codes for misfire on #1235 cylinders.
swapped coil from #1 to #6 to see if misfire moved

then got code p0353-IGNITION SIGNAL COIL C FAULT
still with #1235 misfire
cleared codes and just got the P0353

where would i look for the circuit breakdown?
Could 1 bad coil cause the multi misfires?

The engine sure sounded like it was only firing 4 cyl's.
there are 4 wires into the coil. How would I check with an ohm meter?
Anything else to look for?

thanks

Does a 2001 S8 have a power output stage?
If so, where is it located?
