Considering an A8L

Hello, i'm new to this forum.
i have been a Benz guy for a long time and had several S class Benz's, i love the big cars and need the long wheele base for room.
i am considering an A8L and been looking at 04 models.
i've had enough of the reliability problems with Mercedes, every time its something eles and the bills are piling up for repairs.
will i be getting myself into the same thing with an A8?
or is Audi more reliable and have less problems or am i just replacing Benz problems with Audi problems.
looking forward to your opinions

I have an 05 A8l which is fantastic - beats the merc easily. No issues - very high quality

I just bought a used '04 A8L back in July and I love it. I find excuses to go riding in it. If it had bluetooth, I would live in it.
