2007 Sat Nav DVD

Hi, Just got a 2007 Sat Nav DVD from ebay. Can I just put it straight in or do I need a software upgrade?

When I bought my DVD, I just poped it in. The first time it did some type of update to my system. Everything worked OK. You have a very old version of the MMI. I updated my MMI last night and it added a few features to the NAV. More categories and altitude come to mind.

Thanks for replying, have now installed DVD & its all working. How did you update your MMI? I am very interested in doing this, extra features are always usefull, have you got the feature to display the cars speed in the drivers info screen? Also sat nav in 3D/bird view would be nice.

I borrowed the CD from someone. I followed the instructions, it took about half an hour.

I don't see driving speed. Maybe I missed it.
