I have the nokia phone installed in the armrest, well i should have, but unfortunately it was missing when i purchased the car.
Is there only one type of Nokia phone that fits or can i replace it with another. I have an old 6310i, can i adapt that to fit?

hi Stew, did you get any where with your phone?
I have just bought a 2001 A8L and it still has the Audi phone but the previous owner has added a Nokia bluetooth unit.
I can pair my phone to it but the steering wheel buttons don't work, plus I really want voice activation.

Hi mate, No i still have a the same problem, i managed to locate a Nokia 3110 like the one that was missing, but i still can't manage to get a slimline battery to go with it (the fat battery won't fit in the car cradle).
Even if i manage to locate one i'm not sure what features it will give me, i have a Quattro sport 4.2 with the tiptronic on the steering wheel, so no phone controls.
So i think that what i will have is a really old mobile that isn't even bluetooth, but saying that i just hate to have anything missing.
I did look at the possibility of rewiring the cradle to accept another phone, but it's not that simple
