I bought an 05 A8 yesterday and want a carseat for my 4 year old son. I'm told the A8 has an ISOFIX system so I'd like to get one which works with that. Audi seem to recommend the Recaro but I didn't much like the separate base.
Is anyone using a car seat with their A8 which they'd recommend? |

Having just re-read your original post I see that your son is 4 years old so probably would need a booster type seat and not a Group 1 type seat.
If that's the case just buy a standard booster seat such as the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR - It's non-isofix but to be honest it doesn't need to be as the child is secured in the car with the adult seat belt and the booster seat raises the child to the correct height for the seat belt, it also allows the child to see out of the car too. Isofix is great for Infant carriers & the second stage seat but really there's no advantage when it comes to booster seats. I hope this helps. |
