Default Programming Keys

Hi Guys and Gals,

I'm brand new to the forums only recently having become the owner of an A8.

One of my key fobs went dead (battery) so I foolishly started using the spare.

Having now put a new battery in it still does not work. I'm led to believe that if left too long without new battery they need to be re-set or re-programmed????

Can anyone advise how to do this without having to go to the dealer and pay silly prices.

Many thanks in anticipation,

Steve
