Someone stole my A8

Hi Forum
Just on the off chance that someone may be able to help me. I have / had an 03 A8. It was stolen a few weeks ago and recoverd via my sat tracker. When the car was recoverd there was no sign of a break in, glass and locks intact. Now my insurance company are basically calling me a liar and refusing to pay for the damage that was caused. They are saying that an A8 can not be stolen without a key!? I still have the keys in my posession. Is there anyone that can tell me if it is possible to steal an A8 (the car has the press butoon to start) without the key. I have just read about some remote start kits etc but I am at a loss.............literally.
Any help would be much appreciated.

That is bad news, sorry to hear it.

Local BIB should be able to answer your question unless you unwittingly left it unlocked.

Don't think on an open forum you will get an answer posted to your request, for the obvious reason

Sorry to hear your bad news, sounds typical of an insurance co. to not want to pay. Have you considered the fact that the key,s may have been cloned.

It also just occured to me that it isnt necessary to have the keys to steal the car, howabout lifting it ,as in when you have it towed away. jayefen
