Aftermarket fuel pumps

I havn't found a fuel pump for my 97 a8 4.2l other than the one from the dealer. Before I throw down my cash for a dealer pump, has anyone out there installed aftermarket pumps like walbro into their a8? If so, do you have a part number that will work with the a8? This is about my last option b4 buying the dealer part. Not trying to be a cheap a$$ but spending that much cash will put some pressure on me.

Have you conciders getting one from a breakers? My memory is p1ss poor, but I'm sure All Audi - Audi parts, Audi spares, Audi cars, Audi Salvage Cars, quality audis, new audi parts, used audi parts, audi bristol. actually swapped a pump for someone? Welcome to 4 Rings Spares Ltd. might have 1 too?
