Default grinding noise

can anyone help....im getting a grinding noise when i hit a hole in the road and i turn left, its sounds like its coming from the drives side, the noise also happens when i go over speed humps.

Mine turned out to be the bush in the curved lower suspension arm (no# 37)

thank you for your help sneakymcc, iv found the problem, when i took the car to have the wash pump changed, the garage broke the under arch plastic cover....carnt prove it tho so the plastic was rubbing on the suspention. iv mended it now, but could do with a new arch cover, are there any good breakers in the uk?
