Hi and thank you for welcoming to the Audi Forum website.
We currently drive this wonderful, bullet proof 1988 Audi 90. It's still runnin' strong at 445,000 KM. But our other car is on it's way out and we are considering a 1998 A8, 145,000 KM as its replacement. Is there anything I should be looking for or wary of? A timely reply would be appreciated since I probably should finalize my decision tomorrow. Thanks, Jeannie |

Hello Jeannie,
This year I bought an Audi A8 Quattro 159000 km. Pay attention at the folowing aspects. 1. The automatic gearing. The changegear have to go smoothly. 2. The unit of the dashboard lights, look of all the function are clear by daylight. 3. Tyres. 4.signes of water behind the headlamps. 5.Ask for 6 months warranty for all electric functions of the car. Replacements are very expensive. Goodluck Alf |
