Close Wing/Side mirrors when parked

Hi,

I know this is a stupid question but I have just bought an Audi A3 1.6 FSI sport (2004). The wing/side morrors can be adjusted by the controls on the drivers door, but I don't know how to close them fully when parked for protection. I wasn't sure if they had to be closed manually but didn't want to take the chance.

Please can someone help? Thank you.

On my car 06 A4 2.0T you just turn the mirror knob past the point where you are choosing left or right. It feels like you are going to break it but you won't. Hope this helps. Also check out the following link for other tricks:
