Angry Bluetooth/ Blackberry/ Phonebook Transsfer

I have a NEW ( 09) Audi A3, with bluetooth fitted. I have a Blackberry 7130. Audi have confirmed there is no cradle available.

I have the phone connecting fine, it makes and accepts out going calls with out issue.

Initially, the Phone Book would transfer fine, but now it sits in a Please Wait state...which i assume never ends, because i have seen it in this state for over 90 mins.

Has anyone encountered this problem?

I am wondering if for some reason the memoery is full, but i can see no means to emptying it in the manual?

Any ideas?

Hey... Just bought my A3 last night and tried connecting my BB Curve.

It did the please wait a couple of times and BT would turn off. Have you tried setting the Trust to "yes"? If you go in bluetooth setting on your phone, Options > select the audi device and select Device properties > Trust should be Yes. The default is usually prompt and the phone will reject the connection.

I hope this helps and works, it worked for me.

Hey
I have the same problem.
The transfer of addresses works on initial connection, but after that... no fix.
I'm working on this, and will let you know if I come up with a solution, but wanted to let you know that you're not alone with this frustrating little hiccup!

Have you tried taking the Batteries out of your BB's then putting them back in again after about 20 seconds?

I know it's a long shot but worth a try because that usually fixes any Bluetooth problems that occurs with mine (or any phone related problems for that matter).

This is a known issue with all BB phones and AUdi BT preps. Originally we thought it was only new A4/A5 with Symphony/Concert radios and 8T0 part numbers for the BT preps, but it seems to be spread across the whole range of Audi phone preps now. The A3 will be fitted with an 8P0 862 335 N or S for the EU market.
