Default lighting problem A3 2.0TDI 04

hi everyone just got my Audi A3 2.0 TDI on a 04 plate, i've only just noticed that when i shut and lock the door the hazard light switch is dimly lit as well as the come home/leave home switch to thr right of the steering wheel, is this normal or should everything go off.
please help very new to this car.

yes this is normal
it will go out after the car is left for some time
