Default What Break Fluid should I use for my S3

My breaks need a service, Audi in North London want to charge me around £100+, just to bleed the breaks and top the fluid (Rip Off).......

I know a German Car specialest who can do it for me for next to nothing, I was just wondering what break fluid my car uses (2001 Audi S3).

Thanks

Cozzie

Why do I think thats a rip off you ask!? Well they charge by the hour, as you know break fluid costs next to nothing, the audi garage near me charges £100.00 per hour, the job will take them no more than 30 mins (Max) and I have already been quoted around the £130.00 mark, this is NOT including disc's and pad's by the way, this is just to change / top the fluid and bleed the breaks!!

Thats the reason why im asking, if I can get it done for half the cost then why not!?

Back to my question, do you know what break fluid an Audi S3 uses?

Cheers

Use BRAKE fluid to Specification DOT 4. The time allowance for BRAKE fluid service is 70 time units (around 3/4 of an hour) and would use 2 litres of fluid (£6.64 a litre) as it is flushed as opposed to just changed. There is a set procedure for BRAKE fluid service on S3 and if not followed you will end up with very spongey BRAKES and clutch.
