Have a 2007 Audi A3 with bluetooth preparation and voice control. Able to connect my phone to bluetooth usit in my car just fine. Phone book syncs just fine.
Problem 1:
In the manual it says I shoudl be able to select name in the phone book, and assign a voice tag to it. manual reads:
- Press "Mode" button on the multi-function steering wheel to switch to telephone mode. A phone book entry is shown in the instrument cluster display
- Roll left menu wheel until the desired entry is shown in the instrument cluster display
- press "Talk" button on the multifunction steering wheel. The chime <Beep> sounds.
- Say the command STORE NUMBER
- After being prompted by voice operation system say the name under which this phone book entry shoudl be saved to the cell phone package
- Repeat the name after being prompted. The name tag for the selected phone book entry in the cell phone package is saved in the voice operation phone book.
Somehow this doesnt work for me. I select entry, press voice button, say store number, it asks me for name twice (just as it should), and then proceeds to ask me to say the number, instead of getting it from phone package phone book.
Is it a bug?
Problem 2:
Voice command seems to be not very receptive. No matter how cleary i speak, it sometimes doesnt recognize commands. My friends 2007 A4 with same package doesnt seem to have this issue, althou he bouth it a bit later in the year than me. Is it normal, or is there a remedy for this? Is there a new version of bluetooth/phone package rom (or ram, whatever is used) that woudl fix this available someplace?
Problem 3:
Is there a way to make phone book support other options int he numbers, such as "P" for pause "w" for wait, "*", "#", etc... Is there a new version of bluetooth/phone package rom (or ram, whatever is used) that woudl fix this issue available someplace?
