I have been having intermittent problems straing my new A3. I have discovered that unless I put my foot fully on the clutch the car will not turn over - does anyone know if this applies to all A3's or just mine? The garage say they can't find a fault and this never happens when they have it!!

Debs,
Perhaps you need to make sure you're stamping on the clutch all the way -- there's a safety switch that prevents starting without the clutch fully engaged. Before I figured this out I went crazy trying to figure out what was wrong. Make sure the clutch is all the way to the floor. If if's a mechanical malfunction that's preventing starting, then the guys at the garage would be the ones to help, i would hope. |
