roof racks on the A3?

I plan to install a bike rack (front fork lock) on racks on my new 08 A3. Question is - even tho the dealer promises it has been done and all will be ok - I haven't seen them..Does anyone have them out there?

I have a '06 A3 and have been trying to get a rack on it for three weeks. Bought a Thule rack as the Yakima won't allow use of the sunroof. Had to wait for a special 'fit-kit' for it. Then the Yakima bike holders won't fit the oval Thule cross bars. Gave back the sprocket rocket Yakima holder and got a Thule holder. Won't work without a special adapter. Got the adapter. Won't work without a special hex nut that wasn't in the adapter kit. Supposed to get new kit this Fri. It has been a real pain!
