Default A3 Jolting during acceleration

Hi Every1 this is my 1st post so plz bear with me. i have a 98 audi a3 1.6 SE. the problem i am having is that when i change gear and start accelerating the car jolts backwards and forwards a few time before really accelerating.

i changed the air flow meter about a week ago so i dont reckon it is that.

does any1 have any idea what may cause this and a possible solution??
cheers

yes mate i did.

If you havent checked your MAF (air flow metre) yet then thats a good idea,
check you sparks and leads,
last things is change the Coil Pack (should cost about £60, i did on mine).

hope this helps

I had the Exact Same problem Turned out to be my fourth cyclinder New coil pack sorted the problem striaght away but make sure you change the ignition leads and spark plugs aswell. Go for performance ignition leads aswell if you can just to get that lil bit more gain
