CD Multichanger on a '98 A3
Hey everyone,
I'm a newbie here, so I hope you don't mind if I go straight to picking your brains! I'm buying an S-reg '98 1.6 SE auto, and I'm planning on upgrading the stereo from the current factory-fitted radio cassette to a 6CD multichanger. As I understand it, the necessary lead is pre-fitted to models from '98 onwards - can anyone confirm this? Also, how is this unit controlled? Do I need to get a new control unit for the dash, or is it possible to get steering wheel controls, and if so, where from/ how much? Thanks in advance. BN. |
