i should think you would be looking between £150- £250 at a independant garage and probably at least double that from Audi as they charge £100 an hour labour ...

Thanks T-Sport,
I thought it would be more with the cost of the clutch been around 100 quid. How long do you think it will take for a good mechanic to do the work?

Sorry I didnt read the post properly. Do you think no more than £50.00 per hour and no more than 3 hours work and 100 quid for clutch.
thanks again

Sounds about right nrgsav , you would be best to phone around some independant VAG specialists for a best price...

Good luck with the fix and let us know how you got on
