Hello,
Took my car to a family friend of mine, German Car Specialist, he plugged it into the Vag-com, the problem is the Coolant Temperature Sensor (Controls the ammount of Pertrol let into the engine, that would explain the strong petrol smell when it sometimes struggles to start. |

Yeah they are 18" TT Quattro replica alloys. (They are very similar to the VW Golf R32 Alloys)
I got them from this seller on Ebay eBay.co.uk: 18" Audi/VW TT Quattro Style Alloy Wheels & Tyres (item 320048238324 end time 21-Nov-06 23:45:14 GMT) I ordered them over the phone by credit card and they knocked the price down to £650 with tyres/a set of wolfrace locking wheel nuts and post and packaging included and they were delivered to my door in 2 working days fully balanced ready to fit on the car !! I suppose they did it at this price as it saved them Ebay sellers fees and Paypal fees ...

The coolent Tempture Sensor is also responsible for the ammount of fuel let into the engine as well as ignition and other stuff, its worth checking out, the sensor doesnt cost much!
I had exactly the same problem, engine light kept on poping up, car wouldnt start / tick over. Iv now, changed the Tempture Sensor and my car is running perfectly! |
