Rear seat swap (three seat bench to two seat)

Hi,

My wife and I both have an A2 hers has two separate seats and mine has the single three seat bench seat. Does anyone know how easy it would be to swap them? I can obviously get the two single seats out easily enough but can I remove the 3 seta bench seat easily enough and will they swap over?

Hi,

I was fooled, it looked like I could swap them over, the front brackets that you slot the front loops of the seats into are bolted in and the bolt holes for the two seat option are there on the three seat A2.

So I swapped them over.

BUT, the holes in the floor are different and it looks like it is basically part of the floorpan design and so even though you can get the fronts sorted the rear connections are a no-go and so we cannot swap them over.

Never mind, it is not important, but it was a fair amount of work wasted (I guess I could have spotted the different hole configuration, but I never imagined they would use two different floorpans !!!0
