Hello,
I've just joined the forum to see if anyone can help with a new problem I have with my A2. I've had the car for about five years and it's been fine - except for a couple of issues with windows not shutting...anyway I've developed a leak! After heavy rain the foot well in the passenger side is soggy. The water is coming from above - not through the glove compartment, I don't think. I'm hoping that it may just be a blockage of leaves and then water not being able to escape is somehow getting in. Or a seal of some sort. Anybody got and ideas? Thanks B |

Having taken off the bonnet to have a look at the problem, I found that the windscreen drainage "funnels" attached to the underside of the bonnet were blocked, causing water to pool in the drainage "tank" also on the underside of the bonnet. I'm waiting for the next downpour to see if this has solved the problem. Not sure where the water is actually getting in though.
