Default A2 towing hook

Good day all , as I have just discovered this forum and it is a lot of help already .
I own A2 1.4 petrol with A/C and was told in the dealership that fitting of the towing hook is not possible as battery is fitted in the trunk . Then , just 2 days ago , was told by another shop that it is possible and it is original part . Anyone has fitted one of those hooks ? Pls help

Docurley, if you will insist on editing my posts, I think it should be pointed out that you are keeping useful info from your members. If you're happy to do this, fine, just as long as your members know this.

Cheers,

Mike
I will edit anything you post if I feel you are shamelessly advertising another forum which you run.

I have no problem you giving advice or quoting something on here which is posted else where but in every thread you post you make a link to a website you are associated to and that’s not on.

If you feel in some way threatened by this, then I feel sorry for you, but showing someone where they can get free (yes, free, even in this day and age) help and advice for this specific model Audi is not shameless advertising.

If you no longer want me to provide help and advice for the members, then fine - I get your drift.

Cheers,

Mike

I have no issues you helping people, none at all but it's strange why you feel the need to keep pointing them to your website when you can answer there question here.

I'm associated to loads of forums but I do not advertise them here. This is a growing forum and so I ask you to respect the rules and feel free to answer any questions.
