Brake light switch

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone had changed a brake light switch on the A2 yet.

I have had a fumble about by the pedal but it is thundering and lightening outside at the moment so I made for the house post haste

The car is intermittently dropping into limp mode which is how I discovered the brake lights are out

Any help you can give me would be appreciated - I am a girl after all <img>

i had my brake light switch replaced by a mobile technician, its a ball ache of a job he had to dismantle half the dash to get to it, if i were you i would get to audi and let them do it

brake light switch is easy just drop the panel above the pedals {undo about 3/4 screws near stearing wheel } so panel hangs down {no need to take right off } and you.ll see brake light switch on the left hand side ...... its not near pedals its on a linkage if it takes you 20 mins its cos its dark and you stopped for a ***
