Should I swap the wife's A class for an A2?

I have recently bought my wife an A Class A170 CDi 99 V. Its very economical and great space for such a small car BUT I'm not completely happy with the quality ie Rattles etc.

Can someone recommend what to do on this? Do you think my wife will be happier with the A2 than the A class? Does anyone have comparison, such as prices, etc? Does anyone have experience with an A2 diesel or petrol? Is the A2 much the same size as the A class inside too?

Avoid A2 like the plaugue.
New A series (2005) are now much improved.
Production of A2 ceased 2005.
New model will be based on VW POLO.
