fuel pump

Can any one tell me where the fuel pump is located on 2.3 20v quattro, and is it easy to put a new one on, mine buzzing to much for my liking lately.

It's in the gas tank. You can get to it from inside the trunk. You will have to take out a few bolts that hold the tank cover along with some of the trunk carpet to get at it. You will see where it is located once you remove all that and then it is just a matter of turning the seal and pulling the unit out. Be very careful though... with that unit is the fuel sending unit and float...careful not to break it when removing and replacing. Good luck, post back if you have any problems. I did mine in 20 minutes!
