Cool Such a nice car, but where are the parts :)

Hi all, like most people here i have found the new love of cars. Being a devoted ford man, to be shafted when i was not impressed with a S2, found a 91 Coupe, which i'm not getting rid of, to our lass's disgust . Anyho, its all in good nick for how much it cost off my father, but am struggling to find parts and any to deal with it. I'm currently looking in the market for a N/S rear buld holder as this one has rusted and now i cant indicate left. As well as this, i'm looking to restore the beast, would anyone be able to recommend any info or persons for me to have a chat to please?

Ta

Depends which model you have to some extent. I have the 2.6E, I got an exhaust back box & ht leadss from Eurocarparts. Brake discs and pads you can get there also and some from GSF. Body parts are down to a main dealer or scrappy. I replaced all the rubber bits along the door bottoms and rear quarters, could only get from Audi, cost circa £130 the lot. There is a specialist that does s/s downpipes & cats pretty cheap and I got direct fit lambda sensors from a specialist. Cambelt and front suspension drop links from GSF. Pretty tricky otherwise. Try ebay for rear lights and other body & trim. air/oil filters are fairly priced at the main dealers. J

Default new parts from dealers

Hi, I’m new here but came across a site which might be able to help some of you out if you’re looking for parts so thought I’d let you know, it’s called Auto Parts Finder

Looks like Auto Parts Finder is for current stuff but it’s not just for Alfa parts, they have parts on there for various brands including: Alfa, Citroen, Ford, Peugeot, Nissan, Mercedes, Renault, Saab, Mazda, Vauxhall, Smart, Jaguar, Fiat, Suzuki plus more to come.

You can search for parts on the homepage by Brand, Description or Pt/No if known and the results tell you who has them, the price, where they are and gives you a direct telephone number so you can call them up, there is also an advanced search where you can search for 4 parts at a time for 4 different brands if you want.

There’s also a dealer directory which will help find main dealers in and around your area plus a message board function which allows you to leave adverts for the parts you are looking for, best of all it’s free!

Auto Parts Finder looks fairly new as they’ve only got 160,000 parts listed all from main dealers but it could grow into something big, especially for redundant/obsolescent parts that are available from main dealers at vastly reduced prices but with full warranty’s.

Anyway have a look it’s Auto Parts Finder
