Coolant flange or transfer pipe
We have just changed the coolant on our Audi Coupe 2.0E 8 valve for Audi pink and also replaced the plastic flange which was leaking. Having run it for a day, I noticed that coolant is still leaking from the back of the flange where it fits to the cylinder head. A new gasket was used and I wondered if we may not have tightened up the bolts enough or if we should have cleaned the metal surface more or appled some sort of sealant. Any ideas gratefully received.
