Hi, I have a 96 2.6E with 166k on the clock, but ony as a second 'fun' car. Running costs can be high, exhaust parts are hard to come by and expensive. I get 28/30 mpg from mine but I only use it for longer runs and I don't rag it. OK for 4 adults but not much boot space. A lot of road noise also from the back. PAS pumps, front shocks, and leaks through the rear lights are common probs. Rear brakes prone to seize. Lambda sensors also likely to need replacing on older higher mileage cars, x 2 on these and expensive. Make sure cambelt has been changed. Group 16 insurance a problem unless you're an old git like me. They are not quick off the mark either, only 150bhp. 0-60 10 secs ish, but good for cruising and overtaking on m'way. Hope that this helps.
