Hi all,
I'm getting no sound from the rear speakers in my '95 coupe - and have been told (possibly unreliably) that because they are 'amplified' there must be something wrong with the amplifier or wiring to the amplifier. All the wiring into the two connector blocks for the head unit looks solid, but there is one random brown cable (which has a connector on the end), in the bunch that includes the power supply etc, that is not connected to anything - could this be the source of the problem - and if so, what do I need to do with it?? All too confusing for a simpleton like me!!! If anyone out there can help I would really appreciate it. Ta! |

Thanks to kev and catgroom for trying to help.
I may have confused the issue a bit - there is no separate, additional amplifier unit installed, the impression I've been given is that some form of amplifier (probably very basic I guess) will be factory fitted to power the back speakers (?). Not sure this helps - but it might!! |
