Default 1990 Audi 80 1.8 Cutting Out ? Help Please

HI
I Have a 1990 audi 80i 1.8 the problem is after a couple of minutes running the engine will cut out then it will restart and happen again changed the ignition module but still doing it any advice anyone please !!!!!!!!!

Check the monopoint injection base mount for air leaks.

hi mate
thanks for reply car is a 1990 80E with KE jetronic system fitted JN engine code
car has only done 100k and runs like a watch then after about 5 mins it cuts out then starts back up straight away i was thinking electrical ???
any advice will be gratefully recieved

KE JETRONIC,sound like coolant sender or cold start injector,disconnect both and try that failing that check hall sender in dizzy or idle stabilisation valve

VAS5051-2.jpg2pin-sockets.jpg this early type diagnostic port will be inside the fuse box under the bonnet near the wiper motor inside the fuse box

it could be the fuel pump coz i had similar problem on my coupe e wen i first got it . it would start then just cut out bout five to ten mins later so i chaged the fuel pump and it woz ok after that. can you hear the fuel pump wen you turn the ignition on?
