I am a newbie, and thought I would just say "hello" so that I am not a stranger when I post looking for information, parts, et cetera.

I recently purchased (beleive it or not) a 1990 Audi 80 with 69,ooo miles on it!!! What a find! 4 cyl. FWD model. Simply a beautiful vehicle.

Anyway, just wished to say hello as I figure I will be on here often as my 'young' car will need help over time. (It is in the shop now for some updates as many parts are original and need replacing... I beleive the car sat around a bit.)

and.. I already need help...
Shop can not find right valve cover gasket.
Any ideas on where to find this gasket with "semi circular plug" The redisigned anf after market parts are not fitting correctly. So the shop is at a bit of a loss.
Any help would be great!!!

Hi and welcome, i've just purchased an Audi 80 2.0 Sport SE 8v 1993. Lovely car, well solid, just got a bit of smoke, suspect valve stem seals.
