Hi
I have a 1992 2.0 Audi 80. The problem is that my windows, mirrors, blowers, indicators, wipers and washers have all stopped working, I have checked fuses and was told to replace the relief relay, which I did, so far nothing has worked. Any possible cures would be well received. thanks in advance. |

I've just had exactly the same problem with my car, also a 92 Audi 80 2.0. Did you get this problem resolved or has anyone else had the same problem, and if so, any ideas as to the solution (ideally cheap, non Audi specialist one)!
And help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. |

Sometimes the key does not "snap" back all the way from the "start" to the "run" position. This happens all the time on my '95 90 Sport. If the key is in this "no man's land," none of the electricals work. By the way, I have been manually setting the key back to the run position for 8 years and I haven't had an issue, so I'm not sure if you need to spend the money to have the entire ignition replaced. (Just leave a note for the mechanic informing him of this routine if you have to drop it off at a repair shop.)
