I have now bought a 96 Audi Coupe, 2.0 8v. Its done 86000 miles and is in really tidy condition.
Just wondering though what sort of fuel consumption i should be getting, i seem to be using a lot without driving the car hard. Is there anything i can do, does the engine need a tune?
Also when the car gets hotter, there is a soft clatter type noise when i lift the clutch when going through the gears unless i am super gentle that is. Any ideas?
Lastly, the car rides well over bumps when either the left or the right whells go over something, but at slower speeds there is a rattle coming from the rear end of the car, lower down when both back wheels go over bumps.
Any help would be gratefully received,
