Audi 80 fault code 00515

Hi, I just used the VAG-COM on an Audi 80 (1994), and got the following fault code:

Control Module Part Number: 8A0 907 311 B
Component and/or Version: 2,0l R4 MONO D21
Software Coding: PMC 01
Work Shop Code:
1 Fault Found:
00515 - Camshaft Position (Hall) Sensor (G40)
03-00 - No Signal

Obviously something is up with the hall sensor... but, what does this really mean?
Where is this sensor?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Something I forgot to mention before...

Does anyone know if it is enough to rely on this faut code? or could there be an underlying problem that could cause this fault code to be issued?
