Hi i have a 96 Audi coupe 2.6 in met green norm spec plus air con and a e/s, black half leather interior with carbon trim,125K on the clock, full service history of car. body work and mechanics mint condition ....
new parts inc wishbones, anti roll bar link arms, front exhaust and cat, 4 new tyres. there would be 6 month tax on the car as well as 12 month mot. I have been told by a friend that ita worth about £3000 and £3500 would this be right. Help over this would be greatfull as i am thinking of selling her and would like to price it right Last edited by linzyb75 : 05-21-2007 at 10:04 AM. |

Hi, I think we've been here before last year. I have an identical car which I bought last October, same colour, same spec, half leather, except no a/c but + cruise control, 143K, FSH etc. I paid circa £1800 with 9months mot & six months tax on it. Check prices in Autotrader, you won't see many over £2500. They're a nice car but a liability when this old, the wishbones & cat were done just before I bought mine but I caught the front exhaust pipes, now I'm having probs with the PAS pump and front shocks at 154K - not cheap! I think I'd have paid a £300 premium for your a/c, so I guess about £2100, £3000-3500 is just unrealistic, they're not classics yet. Regards J
