I just got my second Audi. Its a 91 Audi 90 aquired from a friends brother that needs some work. Ive previously owned a 01 S4 sedan but thats the extent of my experience with Audi. I do however have one very odd question Im sure you guys can explain... The 90 has the 2.3 I-5 and Im curious WHY its positioned to the passenger side of the engine bay.. Only conclusion I can come to is due to the fwd transfer case... Can anyone clarrify?

Thanks for ur time guys, its appreciated =)
