Gearbox swap compatibility

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and I'll start with possibly a tough question...

I have a 1988 80 manual. the interior is pretty shoddy and outside has seen better days. It's a great car but...
I have come across another 80 with a broken auto gearbox, in immaculate condition and very cheap.
I have a fair bit of mechanical expirience but that doesn't extend to automatic tranmissions and given that I really don't like auto's I was thinking of swaping the transmissions, something that I have sucsessfully done before.

The new car has the 5cyl motor I am unsure at the moment of the year model but it is badged as an 80.

I would like to know firstly.

Will the 4cyl manual box fit the 5cyl motor??

If not, am I able to get a bell housing/flywheel that will make it work.?

The new car is really to good to let go because of its condition and the people that have it just want to get rid of it. If the gearbox swap won't work I'll call upon your knowledge in regard to the problem with the auto.

for now any inf about the swap would be fantastic!!
