audi 80 - loss of power

Hi all
if someone can help solve this problem, then great

i have an audi 80 2.0, 8 valve, k reg. when it starts from cold it runs great,

but when u start it the second time or there after, it will have very little acceleration, then after a few mintues it will sort its self out and runs great again.
this is a intermittent problem has it doesnt happen everytime from the second time it is start,

need any more info. just ask

I know this is an old post but I found it whilst googling.

I have an L reg 80 estate (2.0l) and I experienced this on a swift run to the shops, on the way back it wouldnt seem to rev at all you really had to stand on it then it would go off like a rocket. Sorted itself out in about a minute but it has me worried. No detectable oil burning or fuel leaking, temp/coolant seems fine as well.

[edit]After some more searching apparently the coolant sensors are prone to failure and can cause these symptoms, to the motor factors with I![/edit]
