Hi all, here is one to get you thinking, Which other vehicles share the same struts as an Audi 90 (5cyl 86-91 non-quattro)? Or to put it another way, Which other cars could use the same coil springs as the Audi 90 (5 cyl 86-91 non-quattro)? The reason that I ask is that I've recently bought a set of Eibach pro, thinking they would mount on my mk2 Golf GTi struts. Sadly this is not the case, I'm trying to open up my market a little as I'm guessing that there aren't too many of these around outside the club scene. Any help would be appreciated

For the good of you're archives, posted below is a "paste" from the Vortex from "briang"(an Audi 80Q owner) that's been good enough to share his knowledge.
The front springs will fit the front of any Audi 4000 Audi 80 or Audi 90. The front springs will also fit the REAR of any 1988-1992 Audi 80Quattro or Audi 90 Quattro. This is because the 1988-1992 80Q/90Q rear suspension is just an Audi 4000 turned 180 degrees and used a a rear suspension. Weird, but true... ![]() He went on to tell me that he was unsure of the rear spring applications, as his car is 4wd. Does anyone know if the Audi 80 fwd cars share the rear suspension with the Audi 90 fwd cars? |

How much would u be looking at selling these springs for? i've got a 1990 audi 90 FWD and i need to do a suspension/brake overhaul. Also could u direct me to a place that has nice sport struts at a decent price (i was at a website with bilstein sport, heavy duty, and reg. but can't remember the site). Thanks.

Hi there, I've got someone interested in them at the moment, he said that he wants them but I'm still waiting on the payment, so I'll have to give him a chance first, but I'll make sure that you're next in line
As for your sruts, it depends where you are, aren't you across the pond in the U.S ?Last edited by Mk2mat : 02-28-2007 at 05:37 AM. |

Don't lose hope too quickly, I still haven't heard from this dude yet. I would be prepared to send them to you if you covered the cost of shipping, and to help you out a little, I'll sell them to you for £60 English pounds (They've never even been on a car!) If I haven't heard from him by monday, they are yours if you want them
![]() If you are struggling for shocks etc... I could also pack the rest of the stuff you're after in with them ![]() Last edited by Mk2mat : 03-01-2007 at 09:17 AM. |

hey, mk2Mat, i'm sorry but i won't be able to buy the springs. Because i now need to buy a new boot-lid and the center sections of taillights. A metal hook from the end of a tow strap (i was stuck in a field) smashed mine. I didn't realize how extensive the damage was while we were in the field, but now i have to replace the whole lot.
