Just recently purchased a '86 Coupe GT CE but for the life of me I can't figure out how to set the clock. The car came with no manual, and I've figured out how to reset pretty much everything else on the computer except the clock. Any help would be appreaciated.

Hmm, clock is actually on the other side of the dash from the tach. The knob to the left of the tach cycles through the various computer displays and adjusts the brightness of the display. Haven't been able to get it to do any thing more than that. Here's a link to a pic of the insturment panel that I'm working with. http://www.igdc.com/ejfluhr/audi/Pics/Digdashs.jpg
The clock is located behind the stearing wheel in this pic, below the coolent and fuel gauges. Thanks again for any help, someone out there has to know this!! |

Ok, finally found info on this, thought I'd post it for the info of others. The clock set functinon is activated by pressing and holding the right side of the trip computer 4 seconds. This comes after the mile/kilometers selection that comes up after 2 seconds. The clock will start blinking and using the reset button you can adjust the hours. Press the right button again to move to minutes and the left button exits the clock set mode.
Here's a link to a partail manual, http://www.isham-research.co.uk/quattro/orange_dashboard/ Thanks to all who looked and hope this helps someone else. |
