Help!!

I'm having trouble finding the correct ignition leads for my Audi Coupe 2.0 16v. Mine has a sensor attached to one of the leads, not sure where it goes I have been told it is something to do with the revs.

I've been to GSF but there was no way of fitting the sensor back on to the ones they supplied. I think they may have the wrong ones listed.

Has anyone had a similar problem, or know which ones are best? I've been quoted £220 from my main dealer

Thanx in advance for any suggestions.

Pete.

I bought a set from GSF and then found out that the sensor did not come as part of that set. I removed the original number 4 cylinder lead from the guide housing and reused it.

I think that the sensor just "feels" when no 4 cylinder has been fired, possibly as a confirmation of the timing - don't really know.

I suspect a genuine set from Audi would be quite dear, but should have the sensor.

Good luck

Keith
