Hi all,
Audi 90 20V Sport Just wondering if anyone has had same problem - engine missing on No.3 cylinder due to no signal at injector. After tracking problem to No.3 cylinder by pulling spark plug and injector leads and swapping injectors round have concluded No.3 cylinder injector not getting signal (also checked with a spare good injector no clicking noise when engine running). Is my ECU to blame, or something else I may have missed. TIA G |

OK - I'll answer my own question, may help for future reference.
Injectors have two wires, one to ECU, one via 'resistor pack' bolted to wiper motor assembly. Disconnect the two connectors on the pack and check for resistance ~5ohms (in this case) between white wire and all other black wires on the two flying lead connectors - I found open circuit on the No.3 connection. |
