New 80 2.8 V6 - 1993 Owner

Hi

Bought my 80 last month and I'm well impressed!

Thought I'd join an Audi 80 appreciation gang!

Hi All!

The above said I'm on the scrounge.

For last few days I've been sucking serious fuel and white smoke out the exhaust.

I'll be under the bonnet at the weekend.

Anyone got any pointers for me?

I've not owned one I'm afraid, but is the engine a V6 (2 cylinder heads) or a VR6 (just the one) as found in the Corrado, Mk3 Golf etc? I'm afraid I don't know so I'm asking partly out of curiosity, but also because you might find some help on 'dub forums if it's a VR.

think i'd be doing compression tests mate--me thinks it could be head gasket rela please let us know
